This notice explains how askSOPhia handles information in this beta phase. askSOPhia is currently a pre-launch project operated by an individual founder.

2. Data We Collect

• Account details (name, email, organization name, role)
• SOP content and related workspace data you submit
• Usage and technical data (logs, analytics, device/browser metadata)
• Billing and subscription metadata from Paddle (as Merchant of Record)

3. How We Use Data

• Provide and secure the Service
• Authenticate users and manage organizations
• Process payments and subscription lifecycle events
• Improve product quality, reliability, and AI features
• Communicate important service and account updates

4. Third-Party Processors

We use third-party providers to operate the Service, including:

• Cloudflare (hosting/infrastructure)
• Google (Gemini AI APIs)
• Paddle (payments)
• Resend (transactional email)

5. Data Sharing and Sale

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers as needed to run the Service, comply with legal obligations, or enforce terms.

6. Retention

We retain data for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Service, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. During beta, retention practices may evolve as the product matures.

7. Your Choices

You may request account deletion or data export by contacting us. We will review requests and respond in a commercially reasonable timeframe, subject to legal and security requirements.
